History
Long long ago, circa 2009, a Google Group kicked-off with ramblings of Freediving in Melbourne.
Years later in 2013 it grew into a Facebook group as it appeared more and more Freedivers wanted to train together to enjoy the development and social occasion.
2014 and the time was right to take the next step – the Melbourne Freedive Club was officially launched and registered as a Not-For-Profit organization.
Mission Statement:
To bring together Freedivers in Melbourne, and connect to other groups and clubs around water sports and Freediving around Australia, that seek to connect with other members/buddies interested in training, sports Freediving & competition, social Freedives and to share experience and knowledge to grow the sport (discipline).
